Brittany & Wyatt flew all the way from the US to Switzerland for their elopement. In advanced, we discussed their vision and what they wanted their elopement to be like. They imagined it to be an adventure – including hiking, views of the mountains, and intimate vows. Just like a reflection of their relationship. Of course, I was excited about her ideas, and we decided that the overview spot in Lauterbrunnen was the perfect place.
They started the day with a cozy getting ready at their hotel in Wengen. The view from their room was already breathtaking. I had time to get some detail shots and they got ready for their day. Once they were dressed and ready, we laced up our boots and started the hike toward an overlook above the entire Lauterbrunnen Valley. When we reached the spot, it genuinely took our breath away. The whole valley stretched out beneath us—steep peaks, tiny chalets, and the dramatic drops that make this region feel like a dream. It was here that they chose to do their first look. They wanted to do an official first look in the beginning. So I gave them their space and took some pictures from further away. After this, they said their vows, which was a very emotional and beautiful moment. It was just us up on this mountain with the most amazing view and it felt magical. They popped a bottle of champagne afterward—because what’s an elopement without a little celebration? Their joy was contagious. From there, we spent the evening wandering around, capturing the two of them in that warm, late-summer light.
It was intimate. It was adventurous. It was everything an elopement should be – feel like you!

Do you help us plan our elopement?
Yes! I want to hear your vision and I will try to make everything work. Doesn’t matter if it’s planning the timeline, finding a florist or searching for the perfect place. After our getting-to-know-you call, you can decide if you want me to be your photographer for this special day. Then I will send you a questionnaire with some general questions that help me get to know and your vision better. And from there, we will start planning everything!
